Insulation
We offer doors in four insulation levels.Uninsulated
These doors are the most economically friendly while still offering the same beautiful style on the outside.
1 3/8" R-7.45 vinyl covered polystyrene
Provides increased energy efficiency and quieter operation than an uninsulated door. The insulation is held in place with white steel style covers.
1 3/8" R-13.45 and 1 3/4" R-16.18 pressure injected polyurethane foam
Bonds to both exterior and interior skins leaving no voids. While providing increased insulating values the insulation also adds extra strength to the door.
Panel Design
There are five choices of architecturally pleasing panel designs, all featuring the beauty of a deep embossed wood grain appearance and the durability of steel.The flush and sculpted styles are only available in Gold and Platinum edition doors

Colors
Haas doors are factory finished with a three-tier corrosion-resistant protective paint system. You may also paint your doors with any high grade exterior latex paint.

Springs
A garage door's springs counterbalance the weight of the door so you or a garage door opener can lift it with ease.
Two different styles of springs, torsion and extension, are used regularly.
Torsion
Torsion springs are mounted on the header directly above the garage door. This style spring is the most common on new doors.
Extension
Extension springs are mounted parallel to the door's upper tracks and stretch out when the door is down. They are often used on single wide doors or where space above the door is limited.
Hardware
- Heavy steel hinges provide added durability
- Tongue and Groove design on each section prevents wind, rain, and snow infiltration
- Flexible vinyl astragal fits the contour of the floor providing a weather seal and is easily replaced if damaged
- Embossed galvanized steel skins assure protection from warping, rotting, and rusting
- Attractive deep wood grain embossed steel is factory pre-finished and painted with epoxy primer and polyester finish coat
- Rigid vinyl end caps on Gold and Platinum edition doors protect and seal the foam core and provide a smooth surface for door stops
Inside
Silver edition insluated doors have a vinyl backer held in place with white steel style coversGold and Platinum edition doors have a full steel backer with an embossed wood grain ribbed texture. Heavy 20-gauge galvanized back-up plates extend the full height of each section and give superior hardware support. Sections are finished Polar White on the interior.
