Garage Door or Garage Door Opener broken? Give us a call!
Springs and Cables
All garage doors have a counterbalance spring. This spring helps offset the weight of the garage door making it easier for you or your garage door opener to lift the garage door.
Torsion springs are generally mounted on the wall directly above the garage door.
Extension springs stretch out along both sizes of the garage door.
The cables attach the springs to the bottom of the door.
After time the springs and cables may become weak and break. If this happens, you and your opener will have a great deal of difficulty lifting the door. We carry most replacement parts in stock.
